Nicola Forshaw

Nicola Forshaw is a Professional Coach and  BACP accredited counselling psychotherapist who specialises in psychological trauma, grief and loss.

 

Nicola has experience of teaching within many fields, including further & higher education, medical education and private settings. Having previously lectured on Masters Programmes in counselling and psychotherapy at Keele & Chester Universities, she has an academic research interest in vicarious trauma, post-traumatic growth and resilience.

Nicola has previously held strategic roles within Professional Standards for BACP, consulting on the development of national standards of training in psychotherapy, counselling and coaching.

​

For over ten years Nicola has consulted with organisations, largely NHS Trusts and Deaneries and Macmillan Cancer Academies  on workforce wellbeing  and coaching for growth. Nicola is an experienced group facilitator and clinical supervisor to multi-disciplinary teams and project groups.

​

As Nine Teaching Programme Director, Nicola has quality assured the professional coach training programmes via external accreditation with The Association for Coaching. Nicola leads as an advisor on coaching, leadership and resilience.

​

Nicola & all Nine Teaching Associates consult with organisations around occupational health and workplace wellbeing.
