About the Event
Narrative Exposure Therapy (NET) is a short-term psychological treatment for
Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) that is recognised by NICE. NET sits
within the broader modality of Trauma -Focused CBT, yet relies on a narrative
style of exposure to aid trauma processing. NET is a manualised therapy that
beautifully integrates creative methods. The therapeutic aim of NET is to
facilitate the development of the ‘story’, with the therapist acting as witness and
co-facilitator.
You will benefit from this training if you are a qualified mental health therapist, of any modality who is seeking to develop an evidence -based approach to PTSD, and enjoy facilitating the story of the client.
A key feature of ALL training with Nine Teaching is that you will be
working within a group of 6 or less, to facilitate a depth of learning,
reflective practice and experiential activity.
