One day workshop
The Nine Teaching Mental Health Essentials series is curated by a team of mental health professionals.
In this session we focus on emotion-regulation and how to manage stress, anxiety and burnout in the workplace. We will learn about the different stress responses, types of burn-out and discuss how to develop coping strategies.
Stress Inoculation is an educative process that supports the development of problem-focused coping and emotion-focused coping skills. Developing these skills will support delegates to maintain their own personal performance, whilst also enabling them to support others.Â
This Mental Health Essentials session also differentiates stress, anxiety and burnout from mental health conditions such as depression, anxiety and PTSD to support more confident signposting as appropriate.
Yoga and mindfulness skills are a key factor in enabling us to regulate our emotions. During this session we will engage in yoga and mindfulness practices as part of the stress inoculation training.
